Rok Maintenance is at the heart of every local Rok business in the UK, carrying out planned refurbishment and emergency repairs for our customers in their local communities. At a national level, two-thirds of our fast-growing maintenance business is the result of working with our major insurance customers – such as, Zurich, RSA,
Lloyds TSB, Nationwide Building Society and Fortis Insurance. In 2007, the acquisition of Aquilo Inspection & Reinstatement Services provided us with even better processes and systems to enhance our claims management service to complement the excellent repair service delivered by our locally based, directly employed technicians.
Systems & Processes
Rok has developed market leading systems and processes to enhance our existing maintenance and building repair service and better meet our customers' needs. Using the latest web development tools and digital pen technology, we provide a fast and efficient service. The information technologies we use include:
- Rokflow - our bespoke computer programme designed to make it easy to manage jobs undertaken by our maintenance teams
- Rok Maintenance Portal – our customers' access to online up-to-date claim or job files
- ICE – our own web-based claims management system used to manage and track the building repair claims process
- Digital pen technology – designed to capture the results of a survey onsite. This data is then uploaded immediately to our systems using the mobile phone network. This allows decisions to be made instantly and our technicians to be appointed without delay. But it's not all about the technology at Rok. It's about our local teams making a real difference to the lives and businesses of our customers. Information technology is a valuable tool to enhance all our customers' experience of our services; tracking progress, monitoring workloads, bespoke pricing to help control costs and, most importantly, keeping them informed of progress via email, telephone, web and text message.
